5 Ways To Make Every Day Count

If you live your life constantly pushing to tomorrow the things that need to be done today, you’ll never fully live today. And the worst part? You may not have the chance to live fully tomorrow.

Time is our most precious resource because once it passes, you can NEVER get it back. By putting things off, you take away from the importance of today.

Start making every day count and you’ll start living a life that counts. Here are 5 things you can do to make the most out of every single day:

1. BE POSITIVE

If you want genuine happiness in your life, you need to train your mind to focus on positive thoughts and filter out anything that is negative. Get into the habit of thinking about the things that “can be” instead of dwelling on “what could have been.” A positive outlook will directly impact your success in life.

2. MAINTAIN YOUR VISION

Envision what your dream life would look like and make sure that what you’re doing every day gets you closer to living that life. Your life’s game plan should paint a clear picture of who you are, what you can do, what you want to do, and why. ALWAYS remember your WHY—recognizing the reason behind your goals gives you the sense of purpose you need to feel fulfilled.

3. APPRECIATE LIFE

Acknowledge all of the good and beautiful that is in your life. Take time to literally stop and smell the roses—make it a point to see the world’s beauty and you’ll notice it everywhere. It’s easy to get caught up thinking about the things you don’t have, but that just takes away from the things you do have. There is never a guarantee on the number of days we have left in this world; just being alive is something to be grateful for. Appreciate it daily.

4. FIND BALANCE

It’s important to work hard AND take part in healthy routines that reinvigorate you every day. Practice self-care by exercising, reading a good book, or meditating. A fun, balanced, and purpose-driven life gives you a deep sense of fulfillment. While routines provide consistency and structure, flexibility invites new opportunities and keeps life interesting. Find the harmony your life needs between work and play, between structure and spontaneity.

5. BE PRESENT

Living in the moment sounds very cliché, but how are you supposed to make every moment count when you’re not present? Savor every minute of every day without dwelling on the past or worrying about the future.

  1. Amazing tips. Thanks a lot Kris, your videos are awesome. I really hope to meet you one day and maybe even get mentored by you. Greetings from Mexico

  2. I love this! This is so very true. Tomorrow is truly not promised to anyone. I once read a powerful quote that said something along the lines of you can rest when you are in heaven which means until then live life as if today is your very last day on planet earth. Coming from someone who has been hit with so many trials and tribulations in my 18 years of existing it’s refreshing to see something like this where it’s not just motivation but an actual action plan to become your best self. Thanks Kris Krohn.

  3. I love your videos, you are such a charismatic guy! I hope I can join you at your event in August and make a plan on how to get started in real estate investments. I would feel so much more confident getting into it if I had a mentor like you.

  4. This was a amazing post. I was just looking around. However, I found the right motivation I needed. “Positive Thoughts”.

  5. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree! Having my life arranged in this way has enabled me to conquer my darkest trials and overcome my largest fears. When I begin to get pulled off this path, I read my Limitless book again and fine tune to get back to thriving.

  6. Be Grateful. Being thankful for what we have, who we are, and all we do is the simple act of acknowledging all the good that’s in our life. …

  7. After a series of strokes ten years back I resolved to turn my life around….I retired early at 57, and started leading a healthier and more balanced existence….I kept my mindset positive and have overcome all my fears, all my challenges….the story itself is a long one with many stumbles along the way, but now, right now, Iam finding myself in a good place…..body, mind and soul….and have not finished yet
