I look at everything that I’m doing in life and being a Father of four is one of the most rewarding. Every Father’s Day, I like to take time to reflect on my favorite things about being a dad, and this year, I want to share them with you.
My children give me a chance to slow down and appreciate life and human development. I love witnessing what it’s like for different little personalities to become adults, and I feel grateful to be a part of it. I truly enjoy being able to experience life with my kids.
I love giving my children my advantage. I believe that every parent has unique gifts and abilities that they are blessed to pass on to their children. One of my superpowers is knowing how to be successful, so I’m constantly teaching my kids success hacks. Whether I’m helping my 13-year-old daughter learn about money and the principles of investing, or teaching my kids simple life hacks like balance, health, and emotional intelligence, I love it all.
The third thing I really love about being a father is taking my kids on trips and putting them in new situations. This doesn’t mean we have to travel somewhere on the other side of the world; it’s just about doing something different and unique with them. I want them to feel that they have as privileged of a childhood as possible by giving them experiences that are outside of the norm. I believe that the time to invest in children is not in college. Instead, the most important time is during their true development years, which is from the time they are babies to teenagers.
As much as I enjoy building my business and creating value for others, at the end of the day, my family is my foundation. My beautiful wife and amazing children are my BIGGEST source of joy, and I’m honored to be able to spend Father’s Day with them every year.
I hope you take this special day to reflect and appreciate your family. To all the awesome dads out there, I wish you a Happy Father’s Day!
