We tend to take for granted the things that deserve our gratitude the most. Ironic isn’t it?
But here’s the WORST part: most people don’t even realize or appreciate what they have until it’s gone.
We spend so much of our lives planning for the future or regretting the past that we fail to take the time to be present in the moment and enjoy the little things.
Looking up at a blue sky, having good conversation, taking a walk with your pet, brewing a delicious cup of coffee, singing along to your favorite song, joining loved ones for dinner—these are all little things that we tend to overlook because they aren’t extraordinary…
They’re also the things we miss the most when they’re gone.
Life will pass you by if you aren’t able to enjoy what is going on in the present, no matter how trivial the present may seem.
It’s important to enjoy the little things in life because someday you’ll realize they were the big things that have made you who you are.
